We find that village life has its pluses and minuses. Positives… wide open spaces in a beautiful rural setting at the end of busy day of ministry, space for us to have a kitchen garden where we can grow some food, a slower pace of life to enjoy with friends, close proximity to some of the schools we really enjoy. Minuses? Top of the list would be extremely poor internet! This limits the amount of communication we’re able to do, especially blog posts, MailChimp emails, and anything involving a document or photo upload or download.
The infrequent posts on our blog and e-updates to our prayer/support team bother us…and we’ve been trying to figure out a way to keep you informed of what we’re doing in a timely manner. We know that specific prayer is fueled, in part, by communication. It seems that the best way to keep up with us is through social media, namely Facebook and Instagram. If you don’t already follow us, please do so! I (Cathy) have a smart phone and find that even in remote village locations I’m often able to post photos and brief updates.
