Please Pray for Peace

Peace for Kenya!

This is the time to pray for Kenya as a nation.  Today, August 8th, the national election for president and governors and members of parliament will take place.  Though there has been no severely tragic post-election violence since 2007-8, there is a lot of room for hope tomorrow and the next few days.  There is quite a bit of fear in many Kenyans… they remember the past.  Pray for peace, wisdom, and for the elected officials to gain a sincere heart for Christ and a determination to lead this country without corruption.

“The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the Word our our God stands forever.”
Isaiah 40:8
